Scots family delighted after welcoming baby after reopening of birthing pools
An Inverurie family are delighted after welcoming their new baby in the newly reopened birthing pools.
Speaking to Aberdeen Live, Natalie said: "The team was fantastic. It was such a nice atmosphere from the get go. I look back at her birth and I feel I got everything I could have wanted. Talking about how much she enjoyed being in the birthing pool, Natalie explained: "I think relaxation wise it helped. It's much more freeing and if you want to move position it's a lot easier. If I was ever to have another, it would be a water birth."
Meanwhile Iona Mclean and her daughter Isla Grace Will made Tuesday a very special day for Aberdeen Maternity Hospital midwife, Kay Leslie.
