A farmer who had appeared in a BBC series died after he was crushed by one of his cows, a sheriff has ruled.
He was trying to move a half-ton black Galloway beef cow and calf back with the main herd on the farm.He was rushed to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary but passed away from “severe and extensive” injuries in June last year. Sheriff Joanna McDonald ruled at a fatal accident inquiry in Dumfries that his death was unavoidable.
