The Specsavers van was hoisted into the air by its rear end after being left in a no parking zone in Edinburgh on Saturday night - but it wasn't quite as it seemed.
Scots were left in stitches after spotting a Specsavers van wedged on top of a pop-up parking bollard.
A video from the scene shows the branded optician's vehicle hoisted into the air by its rear end after being left on top of a retractable bollard. The vehicle's hazard lights were switched on to warn other road users in a video shared on social media. But the Record can reveal that the 'parking blunder' was actually part of an advertising stunt by the optical giant.
