Irvine Victoria fans set off the flares during their side's Marymass derby with Irvine Meadow on Friday night.
Scottish football fans put on a huge smoke bomb display which turned the sky orange during a non-league friendly match - leading to the game being dubbed the "craziest" fixture of its kind in the world.

It sees horse racing, fireworks, parades, a funfair, jousting, dog shows, live music and stalls throughout the town. As part of the festivities, the sides play in the Marymass derby, a one-off friendly complete with a trophy. Writing on his Footy Adventures YouTube channel, he said: "I attended probably the craziest 'friendly' in world football! Irvine in Ayrshire contests the Marymass derby every year between Irvine Meadow & Irvine Victoria and I was there to witness it."
