Charles 'Chic' Wilson has been identified by neighbours as the man found dead at a property in Renton.
A dead Scots man at the centre of a murder probe has been named locally after his body was found in a house hit by a fire. Neighbours have named the victim as Charles 'Chic' Wilson following the blaze on Tontine Park in Renton, which emergency services were called to around 7.25am on Saturday March 25.
The victim was last seen alive around 10.45am on Friday, March 24, by a friend at the flat. His body was discovered the following morning. A neighbour told the Record: “Chic was harmless. No one deserves this to happen, but especially not Chic. “We are also working to establish a motive for this crime and are in the process of piecing together the deceased’s last known movements to find out as much detail as possible on the circumstances surrounding this death.
