Mum-of-four Bobbie Cowan, from Fife, has told of the devastating moment she learned boyfriend Calum Simpson had been brutally killed on a night out.
A Scots mum has spoken about the horrific moment she learned her partner had been drugged, raped and murdered on a night out.
Bobbie is now raising their kids Calum, Mirren, Romi and Lyla alone. Romi has a different dad but Calum loved her and treated her like she was her own daughter. The mum-of-four added: "My world fell apart when the police came to tell me he was dead. When I found out he'd been attacked and raped, I was sickened. He must have suffered so much.
They were both added to the sex offenders register for an indefinite period. Neither had ever met Calum before the night they drugged and attacked him. Speaking to The Sun, Bobbie said: "I hope they rot in jail. No sentence can ever bring my children's daddy back. I want Calum to be remembered for the kind, loving person he was. He was an amazing father.”
