Tricia Steedman, 82, who is a resident at Bridge View House Care Home in Dundee, has always longed to get a tattoo but for years, she believed her dream was out of reach due to medication she was taking. However, her goal finally became a reality after staff at the care home made her wish come true.
She chose an infinity symbol, a paw print and angel wings to be etched onto her arm in a touching tribute to her beloved late dog, Rosie. Tricia, who has lived at Bridge View House for a year and a half, told how her tattoo serves as a reminder to her that it's never too late to "do something bold". Chloe Cooper, activities coordinator Chloe said: "At Bridge View House, we’re committed to supporting our residents in living enriched, meaningful lives. This means focusing on the passions, dreams and relationships that make every resident unique and so we were over the moon to help Tricia fulfil her dream of getting a tattoo.
