Apsi Witana has been left devastated after the tropical bird escaped from her Glasgow flat just after midnight on Saturday morning.
Apsi Witana, said the distinctive bright green bird took off from her property in St Helens Gardens, Glasgow , after midnight in the wee hours of Saturday, July 6.
Her pet parrot - which is bright green with red and blue markings on it's back, was flying around the room in the dark, before he darted for the exit, Glasgow Live reports.Apsi said: "I'd just driven back after playing Kelburn with my band, Brenda, and was taking instruments in. I had both the main and flat door open.
