A pedestrian who passed away after being hit by a car has been named by Police Scotland - as the investigation into his death last month continues.

The alarm was raised after the 61-year-old, who was from Edinburgh, was injured at Burntisland Industrial Units, in the Fife town's Forth Place. The force said: "A 61-year-old man who died after being struck by a vehicle in the Forth Place area of Burntisland has been named as David Whitehurst from Edinburgh.
