Jeff Leyton, who played Les Miserables' Jean Valjean on stage for 14 years, performed an online duet with Crowe, who starred as Javert on the big screen, back in 2020.
An Russell Crowe 's-born musical star had the gig of a lifetime after he was asked to perform at Hollywood star Les Miserables 'Indoor Garden Party' in Paris.
He is bringing the show to the UK later this month but after duetting with Pilton-born Jeff Leyton virtually during the Covid lockdown the two men were keen to meet in real-life. He said: "Russell Crowe took the roof in Paris. I was honoured to be asked to sing two songs at the Indoor Garden Party. This is a show definitely not to be missed."
