Teachers, unions, parents and child experts attended the second phase of the three-part summit to discuss relationship and behaviour approaches in schools.

Mike Corbett, NASUWT Scotland officer, said: "Our representative at the summit, a serving classroom teacher, shared some of the experiences of our members. They range from having rocks thrown at them through being assaulted while trying to separate fighting pupils to enduring misogynistic abuse. GMB organiser Keir Greenaway also attended the latest summit, saying it was crucial policy-makers heard frontline staff voices.
