Matty Peberdy went alone to the Shania Twain concert in Glasgow on Thursday night and caught the attention of the star with his heart-warming message.
A Scots teenager was given the surprise of a lifetime after he was called up by Shania Twain to perform on stage during her gig in Glasgow.
Matty, who attended the concert on his own, had no idea that Shania would call out his name when she spent some time talking to the crowd. Reminiscing on the experience, Matty told the Record: "It has to be one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I feel so overwhelmed and still have the emotion I was feeling then. I don't think it has fully sunk in - it's just madness.
"Next thing I was going up on stage and everything was a bit of blur because I was just star struck."
