Stuart Dunn was on his way home with three-year-old son Peter as fireworks went off in the Glasgow street earlier this month.

A Glasgow toddler was left terrified after a man allegedly set off fireworks in the middle of the pavement as they walked passed.

The 41-year-old told Glasgow Live: "I went to the shops with my three-year-old son. On the way back from the shops there was a guy standing at the kerb and I saw him mess about with something. He backed off and set off a load of fireworks. "I was extremely angry. I had to carry my son the rest of the way home and he was clinging to me. Fireworks should not be set off that close to the road or houses."
