The North Ayrshire takeaway also states that it serves black pudding and haggis in batter, which it describes as "superfoods". Speaking to the Daily Record, Marco Edge from Marcos Fish and Chips revealed that the clip was posted in response to the negative feedback from predominantly English TikTok users towards a clip Marcos Fish and Chips posted of their deep-fried pizzas. As reported by the Daily Record, the Scots chippy staple was recently named the country's "worst" national dish.
