Scottish Government spending under Nicola Sturgeon has come under fire after it emerged that civil servants spent more than £14m in under three years on taxpayer-funded credit cards ChrisGreenNews reports
A £27 “home disco” from eBayOne entry for February 2020 shows how civil servants spent £1,271 at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam on private security and passport checks and lounge access.A payment of £4,182 was also recorded on 8 September 2019 for hospitality and hotel accommodation at the five-star Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire.
The event was in aid of supporting Scottish women and girls in sport ahead of the Solheim Cup women’s golf tournament. A £856 payment for “hospitality with UK Sports Minister” at Gleneagles during the Solheim Cup also appeared.Women Hold Up Half the SkyStaff also paid £4.
