Graham Wilson was the Darvel hero as the frontman netted twice to secure the Scottish Junior Cup trophy for the first time in the club's history.
As is so often the case in Junior Cup finals, the opening stages were tentative with neither side able to get a stranglehold on the contest. Anson went close once more on 36 minutes when he got his head on the end of a Mark Docherty, but while his looped effort had Leishman worried for a split-second, the ball landed on the roof of the net.
