The design museum is offering free entry to popular exhibitions as well as live music and street food.

A SCOTTISH design museum will host a day of free exhibitions and activities to celebrate its fifth birthday.

The exhibition includes the oldest piece of tartan found in Scotland, known as the Glen Affric tartan.The museum will also open Stories from the Building, a permanent display introducing visitors to the stories behind the creation of the museum, to commemorate the anniversary. Introducing Stage at the Radio 1 Big Weekend in Dundee – as well as Be Charlotte, Andrew Wasylyk, and Dundee City Pipe Band.
