Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts, and Hibernian are all interested in signing Luton Town midfielder Allan Campbell, who is reportedly keen on returning to Scotland.
Scottish Premier League clubs Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts, and Hibernian are showing interest in signing Luton Town 's Scottish midfielder Allan Campbell . Campbell, currently on loan at Charlton , is reportedly keen on returning to Scotland this month, sparking the interest of these top contenders. The 26-year-old midfielder gained a loyal following at Luton with his energetic performances since joining from Motherwell in July 2021.
However, Campbell, who has earned a single cap for Scotland, has spent the past 18 months on loan, first with Millwall and currently with Charlton. He is now considering a permanent move back to Scotland and is attracting attention from the Scottish Premiership. Campbell has made 16 appearances across all competitions for Charlton this season, contributing one assist. Despite his involvement, he has only started nine games and played for a total of 836 minutes. Before his move to Luton, Campbell had a successful spell at Motherwell, scoring 16 goals and providing nine assists in 160 appearances. During his time at Luton, he made 86 appearances, primarily in the Championship, before dropping down to League One with Charlton. The potential lure of European football with Rangers, who are currently second in the Scottish Premiership, could be a major factor for Campbell. Aberdeen, sitting in fourth place despite a recent dip in form, are also considered contenders. Hearts and Hibernian are also known to be monitoring Campbell's situation, adding to the competition for his signature this month
