"My two wide players were terrific. My front two really led the line. I thought we were pretty comfortable. We could have scored a goal more. It continues the strong home form and the fact we've only lost one in 14. There's still work to be done. "I'm really happy with the team, with the performances, the attitude. This is not something falling out of the sky, this is what we have been doing for weeks and months on the training pitch.

"We haven't got enough. We've got Shinnie who talks, and that's about it. It is difficult on the surface. We've got to try and give them an edge that they haven't got. They should be battling and winning tackles, it wasn't there in the second half and I'm disappointed. "We've had a good run, a lot of our play in and out of possession has been good. We'll take note and need to learn from this.Hibernian players and manager Nick Montgomery celebrate at full-timeNot a good day at the office for Hearts but they are still well clear of Kilmarnock in third place.Rangers clearly the biggest winners in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon as they strengthened their position at the top of the table.

The quality of the first-half strikes from Mohamed Diomande, Oscar Cortes and the much-maligned Cyriel Dessers was first class. Dessers at the double? No problem - right place, right time to put the result beyond all doubt after only 48 minutes. Fabio Silva's first touch? Expertly despatching a fine low shot into the bottom corner.
