Scottish road trip crowned among 'happiest' in UK - six must-see highlights on the way
A Scottish Borders route has been named as one the UK's"happiest" road trips in a new study.is the perfect time for a scenic road trip, making for a holiday that is just as memorable as a trip abroad. To help you decide where to head, leading fuel company JET conducted a poll in which 2,000 UK drivers were asked to vote for the road trips they have happiest memories of.
Meanwhile, the Lake District came in at number one, with a third of respondents naming it as the route they have the happiest memories of. Rounding out the top five are Devon to Cornwall, the Peak District, Stone Henge, the North Yorkshire Moors.
