The SDLP have outlined the process for selecting their new leader after Foyle MP Colum Eastwood announced that he will be stepping down from the role after almost a decade.
Taking to X, Ms Hanna thanked those who had reached out to offer her support and said that she would decide after consulting with her family. Outlining the process for selecting their next leader, an SDLP Spokesperson said: “The SDLP Management Committee today received notification from Party Leader Colum Eastwood MP of his intention to resign at the Party Conference on 5th October.
