Will your hometown stand the test of time against rising sea levels? climatechange flooding globalwarming
A new report backed by the United Nations has revealed sea levels are rising rapidly and faster than was believed. By 2100 cities around the world could be subject to severe flooding as a result of glaciers and ice sheets from the Himalayas and Antartica melting. More than 100 scientists across 36 countries contributed to the landmark report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change named a Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate.
