Everton manager Sean Dyche is about to enter the final season of his current contract
Everton manager Sean Dyche has revealed there have been no discussions about a potential new contract for him to continue as Blues boss when the club move into their new stadium next summer. Everton kick off their historic final season at Goodison Park today when they host Brighton & Hove Albion but despite going into the final 12 months of his current deal, Dyche remains unfazed about his own future having an impact on the campaign ahead.
Given the managerial churn during Moshiri’s troubled tenure, the 53-year-old only needs to take charge of half a dozen more fixtures to become the longest-serving incumbent of Goodison Park’s home dugout under the Monaco-based businessman but with the club’s ownership issue yet to be resolved, he remains relaxed about his own position. Asked about his contract, Dyche said: “I have not mentioned it to them, and they have not mentioned it to me.
