EXCLUSIVE: Everton FC correspondent Joe Thomas speaks with Blues boss Sean Dyche on the summer so far, what is to come, and the first pre-season performance after side drew 3-3 at Sligo Rovers
Hard work is continuing on and off the pitch to enable Everton to navigate the challenges faced by the club and come out stronger, Sean Dyche said. The Blues boss has been pleased with the work that has taken place over the summer so far - and praised new signings Tim Iroegbunam and Iliman Ndiaye for the ease with which they had settled into the squad.
The 22-year-old spoke of his ambitions for the coming season with Everton in an interview from the club's training camp just outside Dublin, drawing attention to his focus on the club he joined from Carlisle United as a teenager. Branthwaite was not involved in the first friendly of pre-season as Everton drew 3-3 at Sligo Rovers in a game that was essentially a celebration of Seamus Coleman's legendary contribution to both clubs.
