Sean Dyche is not currently able to plan for next season due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Everton takeover., senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed Dyche has prevented a potential “disaster” at Goodison Park after keeping the Toffees in the Premier League this season.
Questions still remain over the club’s long-term future, however, with 777 Partners struggling to get its deal over the line despite agreeing to acquire Farhad Moshiri’s 94.1 per cent stake in the club for £500million last September.The US investment firm recently sent a delayed payment of £16million to Everton for the day-to-day operational costs, taking the total the company has loaned the club to more than £200million.
