Newcastle's Sean Longstaff has revealed he asked for Kylian Mbappe's shirt, moments after smashing his Paris Saint-Germain side 4-1.Mbappe, meanwhile, had a night to forget, failing to truly test Nick Pope and was largely on the peripherals - though Longstaff still admitted he coveted his shirt.
Before the match had even started, the defender admitted his son only wanted to meet the PSG superstar."He wanted to walk out with him instead of me, it was something I wasn’t really happy with. He’s always watching his clips on YouTube. I told him, if you walk out with him, don't look at me in the tunnel."
Just five minutes after half-time with the Magpies already flying at 2-0 up, they came straight out of the traps with real zest once again.
