A member of the Butte County Sheriff's Office's (BCSO) Search and Rescue Team (SAR) went above and beyond this weekend to help rescue a family of Rottweilers.

According to the BCSO, as people were being evacuated in a remote area above Cohasset, near Campbellville, on Wednesday evening, July 24, they say an evacuee's truck became disabled. The BCSO says the evacuee had to leave the truck behind, which included two adult Rottweilers and their puppies.
