Charlie Kelly, 56, left his home in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, last Wednesday for a walk in the Glencoe area. Police Scotland said his family last heard from him at around 8pm on Thursday.
Mountain rescue teams and the RAF are helping in the search for a missing hillwalker who disappeared in the Scottish Highlands last week.
Charlie Kelly, 56, set off from his home in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, last Wednesday for a trek in the Glencoe area. Police Scotland said his family last heard from him at around 8pm on Thursday and there are now"real concerns for his safety and welfare". The force is appealing for anyone who may have spotted Mr Kelly to get in touch, especially those who have been walking in the Glen Etive area since Wednesday.
Members of Glencoe, Lochaber, Oban and Arrochar mountain rescue teams have joined the search, as have the RAF and Search and Rescue Dog Association.In an update on Facebook on Sunday, Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team posted:"As the third day of searching comes to a close we sadly have still been unable to locate Charles Kelly.
