Alaska State Troopers say Robert Peter left Circle on Friday afternoon in a boat and has not been seen since.
Search efforts continued Tuesday for an Interior Alaska man reported overdue on the Yukon River last weekend, Alaska State Troopers said.
Robert Peter, 46, left Circle around 2 p.m. Friday in a 20-foot boat with at least one dog and has not been seen since, Alaska State TroopersPeter, who lives in Fort Yukon, was in Circle for a festival, said troopers spokesman Tim DeSpain. He was expected in Fort Yukon or to return to Circle by Friday evening, DeSpain said. There were clear skies and light wind in the area on Friday.Boat and air searches began Saturday after Peter was reported overdue and continued into Tuesday, DeSpain said.
