A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, we were made aware of a diver missing in Scapa Flow. Officers are involved in an ongoing multi-agency search of the area.” "Two coastguard helicopters, a coastguard fixed wing aircraft, coastguard rescue teams from Kirkwall, Hoy and St Margarets and lifeboats from Longhope and Thurso all assisted in the search along with a number of vessels that were in the area. The search was terminated just after 3am this morning."
