The woman worked with police and helped them track her car to an alley near Minor Avenue East in the Eastlake neighborhood. SPD said it observed the suspect getting into the stolen SUV after he spotted officers nearby. Three officers were injured in the melee, according to SPD. Police found tools commonly used to steal cars, drugs, an"unloaded 10-round magazine" and other items, SPD said.
