This is the third pot shop crash-and-grab in three days as suspects continue targeting cannabis retailers.
SEATTLE — A south Seattle pot shop owner is frustrated after suspects navigated past concrete bollards outside his business and crashed a vehicle into the walls to burglarize it.on Rainier Avenue South was hit early Thursday morning, the third pot shop crash-and-grab in as many days in Seattle. The owner told KING 5 at the scene that suspects fit a small car between the bollards in order to crash into the business.
The property does have a chain-link fence around it, but the owner said he has to leave it open on Thursdays in order for a garbage truck to come in and empty the dumpsters inside. KING 5 has not confirmed what was stolen from the shop, and police have not given any suspect information at this time. On Wednesday morning, a pot shop in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle was hit by a smash-and-grab.
