Seattle also gets another linebacker off the injury list.
The Seattle Seahawks have made some more roster moves before their media-only practice session on Thursday. As expected and previously reported, former UFL wide receiver Ty Scott has been added to Seattle’s crowded wide receiver room. He’ll join fellow receiver Marcus Simms and running back Ricky Person Jr as the UFL contingent on the Seahawks.
Cornerback Andrew Whitaker, who suffered a patellar tendon injury in last year’s mock game, was released from the roster to keep Seattle at the 90-man limit. Lastly, undrafted linebacker Easton Gibbs passed his physical and has been removed from the Non-Football Injury list. The former Wyoming star will look to make his case for inclusion on the regular season roster at a position that’s not flush with depth.
