After losing to the 49ers at home in primetime while wearing action green uniforms in each of the past two seasons, the Seahawks will don their throwbacks against the division rival in Week 6.
Just a week remains until the 2024 rookie class of the Seattle Seahawks reports for training camp, but on Wednesday the team provided reason for fans to be excited. Specifically, the Hawks announced the themes for the home games on the 2024 schedule, and one of the most noteworthy parts of the announcement is when and against whom the team will be wearing its throwback uniforms during the upcoming season.
So, for those fans who didn’t already have the Thursday Night Football matchup against the division rival San Francisco 49ers circled, the throwback uniforms will be on display in Week 6 for the third time since they were unveiled ahead of the 2023 season. The Seahawks defeated the Cleveland Browns 24-20 wearing their throwbacks at home in Week 8, but fell to the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Week 13.
