Aquatica, the water park inside SeaWorld San Antonio, has officially opened its newest attraction, its Tikitapu Splash playground.
Aquatica , the water park inside SeaWorld San Antonio, has unveiled a new attraction just in time for heat wave season. The park celebrated the grand opening of its new water-filled playground, Tikitapu Splash , on Saturday. Described as a “multi-level interactive water-play structure,” the area features three giant dumping buckets, four unique slides and more than 100 new water-play elements including colorful geysers, sprays and spouts.
“Covering over 15,000 square feet with its whimsical theming and a seemingly endless sea of fun, Tikitapu Splash will be a towering rain fortress bursting with color, excitement and adventures waiting to begin,” Aquatica’s website says. Community members gathered in the splash zone for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, cheering as Aquatica Park President Jodi Davenport and Vice President David Skelton took the first ride down one of the water slides in their professional attire.
