It can sometimes be hard in politics to follow the golden rule of clear communication - show, don’t tell.
We are seeing a party collapsing under the weight of its own secrets as sixteen years of command and control unravels. All forms of scrutiny are treated with contempt – FOI laws are flouted, journalists are palmed off and Parliament is ignored. Across the board, 16 years of SNP government has left Scotland’s economy, public services and institutions weaker. Their record is ultimately one of broken promises, abandoned targets and empty rhetoric.
