The former Brisbane headquarters of the fundamentalist Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, formerly known as the Exclusive Brethren, has been sold, with developers proposing 181 units for the inner-east site.
On a huge inner-city parcel of land – 23,265 square metres of prime real estate on the site of a former quarry – 181 units and townhouses would be built across three buildings at 91 Lytton Road, Balmoral.
Developers Skyhold planned to build three large buildings containing 167 units, consisting of 13 one-, 79 two- and 75 three-bedroom homes. Fourteen townhouses, half of which would be three bedrooms and the other half four, would also be included in the complex.Comment was sought from Skyhold. “The largest perceived height by the general population outside of the site is three storeys,” TPA said.
