FREMONT — A security guard died Thursday night following a confrontation with another person at a drug store within the Fremont Hub, police said.Man to stand trial for murder of missing Capitola woman found buried in East Bay park
The security guard had at least one bullet wound, and the other person had more than one stab wound, police said.The homicide investigation is the first by Fremont police since December of last year. The security guard died at the scene. Police said the other person went via ambulance to a trauma unit at a nearby hospital. Police did not have an update on his condition.
