It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a gang of apes on horseback ... surveying the Hudson River from the Jersey side.
The apes gazed upon the Manhattan skyline an the Statue of Liberty from Liberty State Park, as seen in photos and video of the marketing “activation.”The new movie from 20th Century Studios is the latest in the “Planet of the Apes” revival franchise that started with the 2011 movie “The movie is set several generations after the rule of the ape Caesar and stars Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Peter Macon, William H. Macy and Kevin Durand.
