Aspiring wrestler Jelly Roll returned to the WWE Saturday at SummerSlam in Cleveland, where the country star both performed and chokeslammed.
The singer, a spectator for much of SummerSlam, stepped into the ring during a standoff that pitted Miz and R-Truth against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Jelly Roll chose align with the former, picking up a folding chair and delivering it to the backs of the latter. To put an exclamation point on his evening, Jelly Roll then grabbed a dazed Theory by the neck, lifted him up, and sent him back down to the mat.

SummerSlam wasn’t Jelly’s first appearance in the WWE universe — back in November 2023, he got into an altercation with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh at a WWE Raw card in Nashville. The singer had more of a prominent role this time around, serving as the focal point of advertising for SummerSlam, including starring in a promo where he daydreamed about being the WWE champ.
