The Northeast Arkansas Red Cross is ringing in National Volunteer Month with a recruiting campaign. We spoke with John Brimley on the importance of volunteers.
Northeast Arkansas is no stranger to disasters, especially tornadoes. During National Volunteer Month the American Red Cross of Northeast Arkansas is seeking volunteers to be a part of a team that helps those in need.
The Red Cross is an organization that just about everybody knows. But did you know they rely heavily on volunteers? There is no quota the Red Cross is looking to fill; they want any and everyone interested in helping to check out what they offer. “We’ll take as many people that are willing to sign up and take on that roll,” Brimley said.
