AFTER loading her car with a trolley full of toys for her son's first birthday, Brittany Brown was devastated when a cruel thief broke in overnight and stole the gifts.
Brittany, from Virginia in the US, was heartbroken that her son Wyatt would be without presents on his milestone day.The mum filed a police report and never expected to see the toys again. But not long later, she received a call from officers at the Prince William County Police Department, who ended up turning up at her home with a vehicle full of gifts.But it turned out that the selfless officers had pooled their money together to replace Wyatt's presents, making sure he still had a first birthday to remember.Brittany took to Facebook to post about the gesture
"These officers went and bought Wyatt presents after finding out that somebody broke into my car and stole all his birthday presents. Thank you so much," Brittany wrote on Facebook.Following the baby's birthday last weekend, the mum added: "He had AN AMAZING birthday!! God bless you all!!"
