Christine Quinn opened up to E! News all about how she won't be watching the upcoming season of Selling Sunset. Christine explained that she wanted to know her friends as the people they really are.
Selling Sunset 's Christine Quinn is accusing her estranged husband, Christian Dumontet, of 'willfully' violating her temporary domestic violence restraining order against him.
Dumontet was previously directed 'to stay at least 100 yards away' from the home, where 18 emergency calls were made to the Los Angeles Police Department over the last five years, according to Us Weekly. While she was not home at the time, the man's presence was captured by video surveillance, which she installed to 'ensure that Mr. Dumontet and his agents abided by the terms of the DVRO — to stay 100 yards away.'
'Upon review of the US Weekly article, Mrs. Quinn immediately recognized the May 27, 2024, trespasser in the photographs. The trespasser was photographed next to Mr. Dumontet, wearing the EXACT SAME outfit that he was wearing when he trespassed,' the legal documents stated. In a statement to People, Dumontet's lawyer stated: 'This pattern of wild, seemingly paranoid allegations against Mr. Dumontet evidences an obsession that is highlighted by Ms. Quinn’s multiple filings alleging that she has been unable to locate him and has not heard from him since March.'
Despite Quinn's emergency protective order against him, Richard — who has since filed for divorce from the Selling Sunset star — allegedly returned to their Hollywood Hills home the next night and he was arrested for a second time. 'He has now been formally charged with child abuse against his 2-year-old toddler, assault against Christine Quinn, and for violating a restraining order.
She filed a request for alternate service of the restraining order on Monday, April 22, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. 'Respondent should be permitted to serve petitioner via an alternative method of service due to petitioner's evasion of service of the domestic violence restraining order documents,' Quinn's request reads.
Restrained persons can also be contacted electronically, but only if they consent to have the order served via email, according to the Judicial Branch of Californa. 'Due to my public image, and I have taken additional security precautions when staying at hotels previously, such as checking in under pseudonyms or booking blocks of rooms to evade detection,' Quinn writes in her filing. 'I believe could be employing these methods, or even paying the hotel, to conceal his location.'
'Although I was very grateful my request for protection was granted, I was extremely concerned that … he would make every attempt to evade service,' Quinn adds. 'My counsel assisted me in retaining a private investigator to have personally served promptly, although I feared locating him would already be an impossible task.'
Back in March, Richard was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly threw a bag containing a glass bottle at his wife, which missed her and instead hit their two-year-old son Christian.Richard has denied throwing the bag at Christine, and has claimed that it also did not contain any glass, which he claims was a story Christine fed to police.
