The Hamas leader responsible for the deadly October 7 attacks was killed by the Israeli military, officials announced Tuesday.

Naseem Abu Ajina was the commander of the Beit Lahia Battalion in the terror group’s northern division. He had prior experience commanding Hamas’s air attacks and had helped develop drones and UAV technology, The Jerusalem Post“The IDF says fighter jets eliminated senior Hamas terrorist Nasim Abu Ajina, who directed Hamas's massacres in Kibbutz Erez and Moshav Netiv HaAsara on October 7,”the announcement from Israel War Room via X.

“The IDF emphasizes that Nasim Abu Ajina's elimination ‘significantly harms the efforts of the Hamas terrorist organization to disrupt the IDF's ground activities,’” it says.
