A Philippine Navy official on Sunday called on the public to be vigilant against the supposed “penetration” of China into the country’s affairs, specifically in the economy and politics.Coinciding with the continued aggression of Chinese forces in the West Philippine Sea, PN spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea Commodore Roy Trinidad pointed out that China also has a corresponding presence within the country that is across all the instruments of power.
Trinidad also asked the public to be instilled with a sense of nationalism and not to fall for any crime, pointing to the uncovered illegal activities by several Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators “Ang ginagawa naman sa atin ng Tsina is to penetrate Philippine society, our political system, our economic system. Penetrate us across all the instrument of national power all dimensions, and destroy us from within. Kailangan magmasid talaga tayong lahat,” Trinidad said.
