Wendy's is the world's third-largest burger giant after McDonald's and Burger King with 1000 international restaurants and a whopping 7000 restaurants in the US since it opened in 1969.
Social media users shared their memories of Wendy's in Australia nearly four decades ago with a common thread being it didn't stack up to McDonald's."Never stood a chance against the Maccas behemoth!" "The one in the basement in Bourke St Mall was my addiction for the years it was there," a social media user said.READ MORE:But the franchise was not successful after it collapsed in 1985 with $8 million in debts.
