Serena Williams appeared on ‘Hot Ones’ and shared what happened when she tried to cash a $1 million check at an ATM
Serena Williams reminisced about attempting to deposit her first $1 million check from tennis winnings via a drive-thru ATM.
'So I just went to the drive through, and the guy was like, 'Uh, I think you need to come inside for this,’” she said, before chalking the incident up to being one of life’s many “lessons to learn.” 'I never played for money. I played because I loved the sport. I wanted to be the best. I wanted to win. I didn't even know at the time if I wanted to be the best. I just wanted to win,' the retired athlete said.
