BREAKING: Met Police officer and serial rapist David Carrick has finally been kicked out of the force following an accelerated disciplinary hearing.
David Carrick pleaded guilty to 49 offences, including 24 counts of rape, against 12 women between 2003 and 2020
‘Whether it would have affected him being a sex offender I don’t know, but he shouldn’t have been doing it as a police officer.’ Assistant Commissioner Louisa Rolfe said she was in no doubt Carrick’s actions amounted to gross misconduct, adding: ‘PC Carrick’s multiple convictions for multiple serious offences plainly discredits the police service and undermines public confidence in it.’In total, Carrick, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, has pleaded guilty to 49 offences relating to 12 women between 2003 and 2020.
Carrick called women ‘fat and lazy’ or his ‘slave’ as he controlled them financially, isolated them from friends and family and banned them from speaking with other men or their own children. Carrick passed vetting procedures to join the Met in 2001 despite allegations of malicious communications and burglary against an ex-partner the previous year.
The PC was given ‘words of advice’ after being accused of grabbing a woman by the neck during a domestic incident investigated by Hertfordshire Constabulary in 2019 over informing his chain of command about off-duty incidents but found to have no misconduct case to answer.
