A serial thief has been banned from every Sainsbury's in the UK after a monster meat and cheese raid. Joseph Tait, 38, targeted two branches in the Heaton area of Newcastle on a number of occasions over the past few months.
At Newcastle Magistrates’ Court previously, the crook admitted four theft charges, with another 22 offences to be taken into consideration. Last week, he was hit with a Criminal Misbehaviour Order and has now been barred from entering any of the 1,400 Sainsbury's stores across the UK for two years, Wales Online reports.
Tait must also leave any retail premises if told to do so by staff. If he breaches the order, he faces being thrown in jail.
