Cambusnethan North Parish will host an open day with items on show charting its history

A place of worship in Wishaw kicked off a series of celebratory events to celebrate the 175th anniversary of its congregation being formed.

A flower fall has been constructed using knitted, crocheted and fabric flowers which is on display, from the bell tower down the building. Other churches in the area; Coltness Memorial & Bonkle Parish Church will close their doors on Sunday to join the service at Cambusnethan North. Events will continue to run through until December, and include a holiday club – Roll up the Big Top – from July 5 to August 9, Mondays to Fridays at 10am; a Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 10; and a Music Through the Ages concert on Saturday, October 5.
